"It seemed to take a while for this to start working for my skin - I was still breaking out a lot after the switch from my old face wash to this. The tone of my skin does look better and brighter though, and all around healthy. I have 2 complaints - 1. the packaging - a flip top would be better than have to awkwardly hold the bottle and try to spin the lid back on while holding the cleanser on my hand at the same time . and 2 - it seems I have to use a lot to effectively clean my face. Otherwise, it leaves a clay-feeling residue and my face breaks out. Usually with more expensive products, I can actually use a tad less because of the quality of the product. So far I do really like it, but I don't think I'm in love. . . yet."

I love the jar. Not the tube.

"Everytime I find a great cream cleanser in a jar it's discontinued. There's no way to replicate that in a tube. I enjoyed it for several years after Clarins discontinued they're tub of cream and before that EL. You were really the only high end brand with a jar cream for cleansing. I purchased 6 off another site on sell so I have time to find a new cleanser."

Old school cleanser

"I’ve used the cleansing balm for years and loved it. Tried this new cleanser and am sad to say it didn’t live up to expectations. It has a cold cream-like texture that absolutely needs a hot flannel to remove it. I don’t think it’s enough to remove sunscreen and foundation, so I’ve been using it for the second or morning cleanse, but the feeling it leaves behind is not great. Skin doesn’t feel clean or hydrated, but just greasy. I’m going back to the black cleansing balm."
